Description
Amisulpride, used in the treatment of schizophrenia, works by blocking the effects of a brain chemical that affects thinking, behavior, and feeling.

- Difficulty sleeping (insomnia) or feeling anxious or agitated
- Lightheadedness
- Blurred vision
- Dry mouth
- Constipation
- Weight gain
- Decreased blood pressure
- Dystonia (involuntary muscle contractions)
- Akathisia (inability to stay still)
- Parkinsonism
- Breast enlargement in men
- Unusual production of breast milk in women and men, breast pain
- High blood sugar (hyperglycaemia)
