6. ATORVASTATIN belongs to a class of medications called statins to treat raised cholesterol levels in our body. ATORVASTATIN helps lower the level of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or bad cholesterol in the blood and increase the level of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) or good cholesterol. Dyslipidaemia is the deposition of unhealthy fat (lipid) levels in the blood.
