Description
It is used in the treatment of cough. Chlorpheniramine inhibits the action of histamines (a substance that causes allergic reactions). it acts on the cough centre in the brain and blocks the nerve signals that cause cough. Guaifenesin and ammonium chloride help in the removal of mucus (phlegm) from the airways. Sodium citrate helps loosen and thin the sputum in the airway to cough up the mucus easily. Menthol provides a cooling sensation and relieves throat irritation.

Fatigue, Inability to concentrate, Sleepiness, Sedation, Dizziness, Impaired coordination, Irritability, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Tremors, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Blurred vision
