Azelastine Hcl & Fluticasone Furoate Nasal Spray (140mcg/27.5mcg) is a combination of two medicines: Fluticasone Propionate and Azelastine, which relieves sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies (allergic rhinitis). Fluticasone Propionate is a steroid which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling) and irritation in the nose. Azelastine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.Azelastine+fluticasone Furoate combines two drugs: Fluticasone furoate (corticosteroid) and Azelastine (antihistamine/antiallergic). Fluticasone furoate prevents the release of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammatory reactions. On the other hand, Azelastine works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions.
