It is used to manage diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage caused by diabetes), peripheral neuropathy (peripheral nerve damage that affects hands, feet and arms) and megaloblastic anaemia (blood disorder) caused by vitamin B12 deficiency in affected individuals.
