Azelastine Hcl & Fluticasone Propionate Nasal Spray (140mcg/50mcg) is a combination of two medicines: Fluticasone Propionate and Azelastine, which relieves sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies (allergic rhinitis). Fluticasone Propionate is a steroid which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling) and irritation in the nose. Azelastine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.Azelastine and fluticasone combination nasal spray is used to treat an itchy or runny nose, sneezing, or other symptoms caused by seasonal hay fever (allergic rhinitis). Azelastine is an antihistamine. It works by preventing the effects of a substance called histamine, which is produced by the body.
