Description
Terbinafine, Clobetasol, Ofloxacin, and Ornidazole are four medications that work together to treat skin infections. The combination is called Terbinafine + Clobetasol + Ofloxacin + Ornidazole. Terbinafine is an antifungal that inhibits fungal growth by preventing the fungus from developing their outer layer. The medication clobetasol is a steroid. It prevents the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are specific chemical messengers that cause itchy, red, and puffy skin. An antibiotic called ofloxacin works by stopping bacteria from growing and mending themselves. Another antibiotic called ornidazole works by destroying the DNA of infectious microorganisms, including bacteria. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly.
